This group exists to create a community space for practitioners and users of Uncertainty Quantification and Management (UQM) techniques to interact and promote its use in High Value Manufacturing (HVM).

The UK benefits greatly from a very strong HVM industry base. The world of HVM however now moves to a new age of computational models and design, where before engineers could really on their own judgement, highly complex supply chains and sophisticated models for design of integrated systems mean that the propagation of uncertainties is not always a straightforward matter.

Proper identification, handling and communication of these uncertainties and the risks they carry is vital.
