The Network Security Innovation Platform “Trusted Services” call for proposals has attracted a great deal of attention from Industry, Academia and Government. This Connect space is provided to encourage prospective organisations to collaborate during the period the competition is open.
The tools, techniques and services developed under this competition will accelerate the deployment of secure and trustworthy information systems.
This investment targets the increasing risks that UK Government, businesses and consumers face, whilst providing significant market opportunities to build a strong UK capability base.
We are focusing on business-led collaborative projects to develop trusted services which rely on technologies and their associated supply chains that will deliver significant improvements over
today’s service offerings. An indicative £8m of Technology Strategy Board funding and a possible £2.3m of funding from the Research Councils is available.
The optional briefing event explaining the competition process is being held on the 19th May and is now available for registration here. The competition documents will be available to download from Monday 10th May.
Other collaboration workshops will be organised via the KTN, and other networks, which will be linked to this group site.
