The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) has refreshed its online platform to intelligently connect you to relevant events, funding, thought pieces and specialist staff to help your business innovate and grow.

You can discover content using your area of interest, from sustainability to transport; from space to health – all major UK economic sectors are covered. Once you have selected your interests, using our intelligent tagging system, we will then display rich and relevant content related to your area, often from surprising sources.

The move also marks a closer alignment with our main funder, Innovate UK , with the website branding making a clear visual link. Knowledge Transfer Network is Innovate UK's innovation network partner, and also works with other funders to provide innovation networking services and fulfil our mission to drive UK growth.

Want to work with the Technology Strategy Board, encouraging innovation in the North of England?

Fixed term contract until March 2015, working based out of Lancaster.

The N8 Research Partnership is a collaboration of the eight most research intensive universities in the North of England: Durham, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and York. Working with industry, N8 aims to maximise the impact of this research base by identifying and co-ordinating powerful collaborations, utilising the combined expertise and capabilities of the N8, “the power of 8”.

The N8 Industry Innovation Forum (N8IIF) is a joint initiative between the N8 Research Partnership, the Technology Strategy Board and HEFCE. The N8IIF connects leading businesses with the N8 research intensive universities and other key organisations to enable innovation through collaboration.

They are seeking someone with significant experience of building strategic relationships between large corporate organisations and universities to join their team. The role will engage board and R&D director level roles from industry and universities to develop large scale specific and strategic R&D investment opportunities that can only be delivered through the added-value of research intensive universities working collaboratively.
