About the Agri-Tech Catalyst
The Agri-Tech Catalyst, run by Innovate UK and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, offers funding to innovative businesses and researchers to develop solutions to global agricultural challenges
Later in the year Innovate UK will open the 5th and potentially last round of the Agri-Tech Catalyst Fund. This competition has proven very popular with businesses of all sizes as it covers a range of areas of innovation:
Primary crop and livestock production, including aquaculture
Non-food uses of crops including ornamentals
Food security and nutrition challenges in international development
Challenges in downstream food processing, provided the solution is in primary production.
