The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) is hosting an event on 7th October in London to bring together leading Agriculture, Food and Space companies to improve understanding of the challenges in the agriculture and food sector and what satellites can do to help.
Funding for use of satellites in agriculture and food industries
Innovate UK is running a competition with around £3M of funding to support the application of satellite technology to enhance the agriculture and food industries.
This event will provide a briefing on this competition and also the relevant Horizon 2020 agriculture calls for 2016/17, where the total grants available are likely to exceed €25M.
A key element of the day will be creating new connections that can lead to collaborative projects and a number of tools will be used to assist you in making those connections.
