How We Can Assist
Chemistry Innovation delivers support through:
Providing access to expertise through unique networks such as the Sustainable Technologies Advisory Board (STAB) which is linked closely to SusChem UK. Through these boards Chemistry Innovation can connect with partners across Europe and raise the profile of UK chemistry. Practicing innovators and sustainability managers in industry can widen their peer network and collaborative contacts through Chemistry Innovation.
STAB and SusChem UK Chemistry Innovation will work to promote UK strategy through SusChem into EU Commission funding programs. Chemistry Innovation provided support for the development of the RSC Roadmap for the Chemical Sciences and is playing a key role in delivering the program on Sustainable Product Design.
Interaction with government departments (e.g. Defra Chemicals Stakeholder Forum) and relationships with sustainable development organisations (e.g. Forum for the Future, Green Alliance, New Frontiers) Chemistry Innovation will continue to provide an influential voice for chemistry and where it underpins sustainable innovation.
Building consortia and facilitating collaborative projects such as BIOCHEM and ensuring funding mechanisms are aligned and promoted.
