International conference on global sensor developments in the water cycle

September 9 -10, 2013 - Assen, The Netherlands

The Sensors4Water conference is kicked off by Dutch astronaut Andre Kuipers.He will share his view on Sensortechnology and Water Technology. At the conference recent developments on sensor technology in the water cycle are presented from several water hotspots around the globe. Keynote speakers from Israel, Australia, Singapore, Canada, Ireland and The Netherlands will share their view on how sensor technology play an active role in global water issues such as Water safety, Water scarcity, Data management and Asset management. You will get the opportunity to get involved in the discussion by joining the interactive theme sessions or during the many network moments.

Student contest:
Students are challenged to submit their proposals with a view to the perfect sensor solution to help solve one of the great global water challenges on either water quality or water management. The best proposal will be rewarded with €1.500,00 Euro.
