Invitation to UK companies with nuclear capabilities - opportunities in Japan

Opportunity to feature in UKTI directory

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is creating a Japanese-language catalogue of UK capability in the area of nuclear decommissioning and waste management, and would like to offer your company the opportunity to feature in the directory free of charge. The catalogue will be based around capabilities and technologies in order to reflect the enquiries which are currently coming from the Japanese nuclear industry.

Your entry will be translated into Japanese and the completed directory will be distributed to key contacts in the Japanese nuclear industry. The directory will be published online in English and Japanese and a hard copy will be produced in Japanese. The deadline for submissions is 5th October 2012. See the UKTI flyer for more information and contact details.

Major decontamination and waste disposal exhibition

UKTI will be present (stand 225 in the Decontamination Zone) at the "Radioactive Decontamination & Radioactive Waste Disposal International Exhibition" (Radiex 2012) to be held at the Science Museum in Tokyo on 24-26th September 2012.

There will be an opportunity to highlight specific companies/technologies. If you wish to be included, please email any relevant information (e.g. pdfsof brochures) or links to your website to: Ogiwara@uktradeinvest.jp.

Trade Mission: Nuclear Decommissioning and Waste Management

The programme for this trade mission to Japan and Korea is still under development, but will include:

  • Opportunity to present your company and its capabilities to an audience of key Japanese and Korean companies and stakeholders.
  • Opportunities for separate meetings with relevant Japanese and Korean organisations.

See the UKTI flyer for more information and contact details.

Webinars about the Japanese nuclear industry

UKTI will be providing regular updates via free webinars on the latest situation in the Japanese nuclear industry for UK companies. See the UKTI flyer for contact details.

Hello, I am currently finaliizing my award winning research from Liverpool John moores University, into the problems of cost blowouts with mega projects in the heavy engineering sector, working with the IT Lab at Lancaster University. This will be published as the Triumph ViP coaching Colloquium for 18 persons (6 xd 3 person small groups) and comprising of 12 x 2 hour interactive sessions with 12 introductory tutorials and Course Leaders Manual or the option of a Triumph ViP Wingman. I want to develop the programme further for specific sectors including nuclear and invite comments.
