Invitation to attend UKTI briefings on UK support to clean-up efforts at Fukushima Daiichi

UPDATE: The slides from the briefings can be viewed here

Dr Keith Franklin has been posted to UKTI at the British Embassy in Tokyo in order to investigate where the UK can provide support to the clean-up and decommissioning efforts at Fukushima Daiichi, following the Great East Japan earthquake and tsunami in March 2011.

In June 2013 Keith will give a briefing to UK audiences on the progress made so far in utilising UK capability and expertise in Japan, and describe what opportunities there may be to be involved in the clean-up efforts. These briefings will take place in a range of UK centres as part of Keith's presentation to the hosting organisations. UKTI would like to give UK nuclear companies from across the supply chain the opportunity to meet Keith during these events to discuss opportunities further. If you would like to attend one of the briefings listed below, please e-mail the registration contact provided. Replies will be fielded on a first come first served basis and seating capacity constraints are given.
