University of Sheffield Engineering Symposium - June 24, 2014 - Octagon Centre , Sheffield

I am hosting a conference to promote interdisciplinary work at the University of Sheffield with an emphasis on Engineering to showcase some of the research work being pursued at the University by young researchers along with trying to increase collaboration efforts. This conference is organised by young researchers and we are envisaging about 300 delegates for the same.  The event comprises of poster presentations, Oral Presentations as well as networking events. We have industrial participation as well. We have a specific theme on robotics and autonomous systems and have speakers of repute in the morning for the session :  Professor Sandor Veres - University of Sheffield - Robotics and Autonomous Systems in Department of Automated Control Systems Engineering Dr. Roderich Gross - Recent advances in swarm robotics http://www.sheffield.ac.uk/news/nr/sheffield-centre-robotics-gross-natural-robotics-lab-1.265434 
Dr. Mirko Kovac  - Director of Aerial Robotics Laboratory, Imperial College London - Bio-inspired Aerial Robots, -from nature to robotics and back

We are only charging £40 for the entire day and Registrations can be made below:


You can attend any session and it is not compulsory to attend the whole day.
