Last chance to apply for ECHORD++ second call

The EU-funded robotics project ECHORD++ closes its second competitive call for experiment proposals on 23 June. The aim of ECHORD++ is to strengthen the knowledge transfer between scientific research and industry in robotics, and encourage cooperation. 
 
The following scenarios form an outline for the experimental scope:
  • Cognitive tools and workers for cognitive factories 

  • General purpose robotic co-workers 

  • Cognitive logistics robots for industry 

  • Medical robotics 

  • Agricultural and food robotics 

  • Urban robotics 
Experiments will have a maximum duration of 18 months and the funding of is expected to be in the region of € 300.000. 
 
The total indicative funding for this call is € 4.8 million. 
 
Non-EU organisations are welcome to participate under the EU-rules applying for funding. 
 
ECHORD++ is a joint project between coordinator Technische Universität München, Blue Ocean Robotics, Bristol Robotics Laboratory, Commissariat à l'Énergie Atomique et aux Énergies Alternatives, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
