Uniting communities to exploit commercial opportunities for quantum technologies

 

 

This Special Interest Group is for everyone interested in quantum technologies, from industry, academia, suppliers, end-users, entrepreneurs and investors.

We explore market opportunities and help build vital supply chains to promote a thriving UK industry.  

The UK has set up a £270m programme to exploit Quantum Research by driving rapid commercialisation of scientific research to create engineered systems that can be deployed in the field.

 

The SIG is actively supporting this initiative and brings together a broad community to develop and commercialise quantum and supporting technologies to address markets including:

  • communications
  • defence systems
  • space
  • mining
  • position, navigation and timing
  • medical physics and many more...

The SIG engages with end-users from a broad range of sectors to identify market opportunities and understand market needs.

 

Our activities, findings, reports and useful information about Quantum Technologies will be published on our web page and in our document library.
