Interface - accessing Scottish academic expertise

Are you looking to connect with Scottish Universities, Higher Education Institution and Scottish Research Institutes? Interface provides an impartial, central point of access into the wealth of Scottish academic expertise.

Interface was created in 2005 to match businesses with academic expertise within Scotland. This is a free service and it has already helped hundreds of organisations to grow, develop and become more sustainable through the facilitation of collaborative partnerships.

Interface facilitates collaborative partnerships between all industry sectors, with connections to academics across a wide range of disciplines such as science and engineering, sales and marketing. These collaborations could be as simple as an exchange of information as to whether a product idea is feasible, to longer term access to facilities and equipment for development and testing. Interface also has access to off the shelf technologies which can help to fast track R&D projects.

Interface is also responsible for administering a range of funding schemes through the Scottish Funding Council Innovation Vouchers to help offset the cost of collaborating with Scottish academia.
