Navigation App for blind and partially sighted people.

Researchers in Barcelona have launched a universally accessible navigation application for Android smartphones, available at Google Play. The application can be used by people with visual and hearing impairments, and with limited mobility and cognitive functions.

Currently the app provides step-by-step navigation on foot or by bus in Barcelona, Madrid and Rome, and will soon be available for Helsinki, Valencia and Zaragoza.
