Accelerating Technology into Patient Benefit
Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in the UK – and the cost of treating bowel cancer to the NHS is estimated to be over £1 billion a year.
The Colorectal Therapies Healthcare Technology Co-operative (HTC) is hosting a national meeting to stimulate novel and exciting ideas to advance patient care in colorectal therapies.
Clinical problem? Novel solution? Innovative idea?
The national event, which is free of charge, is open to broad-minded clinicians with a passion for advancing colorectal therapies, creative scientists and engineers wishing to apply their expertise in this clinical area, industry partners involved in materials or device technologies, and patients with real-life experience of colorectal disease.
The HTC is a national collaboration of clinicians, scientists, industry, funders and patients working together to accelerate new science and technologies into clinical application.
Join us on 17 October 2013 for a series of speakers from across the globe and workshops designed to encourage the development of innovative solutions and novel partnerships.
