The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) has refreshed its online platform to intelligently connect you to relevant events, funding, thought pieces and specialist staff to help your business innovate and grow.

You can discover content using your area of interest, from biotechnology to transport; from space to health – all major UK economic sectors are covered. Once you have selected your interests, using our intelligent tagging system, we will then display rich and relevant content related to your area, often from surprising sources.

The move also marks a closer alignment with our main funder, Innovate UK , with the website branding making a clear visual link. Knowledge Transfer Network is Innovate UK's innovation network partner, and also works with other funders to provide innovation networking services and fulfil our mission to drive UK growth.

Infrastructure Systems competition event - Bristol

On Tuesday 19th July InnovateUK and KTN hosted a competition brokerage event in Bristol to promote the launch of the new funding competitions 'Innovation in infrastructure Systems' and 'First of a Kind deployment'.

The event was attended by delegates from industry, academia and research organisations covering the energy, built environment, transport and urban systems sectors. Delegates saw presentations from InnovateUK on the scope of the two competitions as well as a case study from a company who shared their experiences of working on a InnovateUK funded project. The assembled organisations were also given the opportunty to pitch their project ideas for the new competition.
