Senior Executive, Corporate Partnerships: Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology
University of Nottingham
My interest in biocompatible biomaterials came when I joined Oxford University as Senior Research Fellow working on implantable glucose sensors. I founded BioInteractions where I developed biocompatible biomaterials and I am co-inventor of 6 patents
I work on genomic epidemiology and evolution of bacterial pathogens. I am also in charge of the NTU genomics facility containing an Illumina MiSeq platform
I am keen to create innovation partnerships between NHS Highland and academics, companies and other health and care providers. We need partners to help develop ideas from staff and partners who have ideas that need advice and support from the NHS.
