Smart Home Breakthrough: Assuring trust in Smart Home Systems for Consumers

Every day sees an example of an organisation being subverted through cyber crime or attack and their data being stolen - last week Talk Talk - next week who?

What is not apparent is that this is an equal risk for the growing body of Smart home users, manufacturers and retailers.

  • How can Smart Home systems be made secure - will you be at risk?
  • What is the role of retailers and manufacturers in ensuring products and services in the market deliver security for their customers - what are the liabilities?
  • What is the role of government and regulators in ensuring people living in Smart Homes are kept safe from cyber attack?

KTN, in partnership with SH&BA are organising a Smart Home Security Conference on 19th November 2015 at the Royal Institute of British Architects in London. This "must attend" conference will highlight the risks and present what manufacturers, the supply chain and Government is looking to do to protect the consumer and help advise customers how they can trust devices, services and products so they can buy with confidence.

With a programme including expert speakers from Intel, Dixons, Euronics, Which?, Deutsche Telekom and BSI, this conference is one that retailers, manufacturers and anyone in this growing industry must attend.
