Horizon 2020 ICT30 - be in it to win it!

The ICT30 call opened on 15 October, €51M for large projects in IoT and Platforms for Connected Smart Objects. This looks a lot like the Innovate UK IoT Ecosystem Demonstrator projects but with a research element (it's a Research & Innovation Action) and looking to build links with the Future Internet PPP (through the use of FIWare) and cyberphysical systems (through the ECSEL PPP) and develop further outputs from the IoT European Research Cluster (IERC).

This is a great opportunity for UK IoTers. But what's actually needed and how do you get in? Fortunately the European Commission is holding a Community Building Day on Friday 7th November in Brussels where you can learn the details and present your credential, interest and even pitch a project proposal (deadline for online submissions is 30 October). Provisional agenda and registration link is here. Additional info from the recent event in Florence can be found here.

I'll be there waving the flag, come along for a great networking opportunity that can lead to projects and business.
