AIOTI publishes recommendations for H2020 Large Scale Pilots

The Alliance for Internet of Things Innovation (AIOTI) has published a number of reports containing "Recommendations for future collaborative work in the context of the Internet of Things Focus Area in Horizon 2020" covering the IoT in general and specifically the main areas of the Internet of Things (IoT) Work Program 2016-2017. Roughly translated, the sort of things they think should feature in proposals to be submitted in the current H2020 IoT Large Scale Pilots (LSP) call  - details of the call here but you’ll need an ECAS login to see it (follow the instructions, if needs be).

The AIOTI reports cover:

WG01: Report on Internet of Things Applications

WG02: Report on Innovation Ecosystems

WG03: Reports on IoT Standards

WG04: Report on Policy Issues

WG05: Report on Smart Living Environment for Ageing Well (LSP1)

WG06: Report on Smart Farming and Food Safety Internet of Things Applications (LSP2)

WG07: Report on Wearables (LSP3)

WG08: Report on Smart Cities (LSP4)

WG09: Report on Smart Mobility (LSP5 – Autonomous Vehicles)

WG11: Report on Smart Manufacturing

So, if you’re minded to go after some H2020 IoT action, it’s worth casting an eye over these. The reports can be accessed from here. It’s also worth getting involved in the AIOTI – KTN and Digital Catapult are members along with quite a few UK based businesses, large and small. It is shaping up as the forum that has the European Commission’s ear on matters IoT and is actively encouraging wide participation. You can check it out here.

We’ll be running an info/brokerage session on the H2020 IoT Large Scale Pilots in December. Watch this space.
