The Accelerating Cross-border Engagement (ACE) Programme offers UK ICT SMEs the opportunity to compete against other SMEs from across the EU in order to receive a bespoke and personalised in-depth package of support allowing you to identify and access markets, potential clients and technology partners from 11 EU countries. ACE will further support you to pitch your business aspirations to a European network of investors who will assist the transformation of your business to the next level.

Belgium, Czech Republic, Ireland, Italy, Finland, Luxembourg, France, Sweden, Portugal, Germany, UK & Sweden
What will it cost?
Free - but there are a handful of country specific services which may require a charge, but help will be given to negotiate on any of these services! There is also a requirement for in-kind time to be apportioned to your activity, but this what you will already be doing to develop and expand your markets.
Visit the ACE Competition website; answer some simple questions on your company, your business objectives/goals, identify your target markets and see if your business or its technology, is strong enough to compete with other ICT SMEs from the EU.
What will happen if I win a place on the programme?
You will not be dictated on what you need; provision will be given to help you with solutions to meet your identified needs. You will receive customised support tailored to achieve the business objectives. In-market specialists will be able to identify potential technology partners and clients as well as access to meeting rooms, office space and a dedicated mentor who will be able support you with invaluable local knowledge .
The application portal closes at the end of February 2014. Early application is recommended to allow maximum access to the ACE Open Innovation Platform
