Visit the 41st Intelligent Sensing Programme (ISP41) - Automotive Sensors

The 41st Intelligent Sensing Programme 2014 will be held at the Williams Conference Centre, Oxfordshire on 11th December 2014.  The focus will be on sensing and instrumentation challenges in the automotive industry.

The UK has a rich history in automotive engineering and many of the future challenges in the industry are deeply reliant on sensors and instrumentation.

The ISP41 aims to address some of these challenges and focus on:

  • Sensors for greener cars
  • Sensors for smarter cars
  • Sensors for safety and situation awareness
  • Sensors for high end applications and performance monitoring
  • Novel sensing applications for the automotive industry
  • including considerations such as smaller, lower power, more connected rugged devices into the programme.

The Chair for the ISP41 will be Pete Loftus, Head of Measurement Engineering - Rolls - Royce.

The keynote speech will be delivered by Jaguar Land Rover and two sensor industry talks will be given by TRW and TT Electronics.
