UK companies often overlook funding opportunities from European programmes, however, these are well worth considering.
There is a range of EU funding programmes that support business led innovation in agri-food sector.
Funding for plants and crops projects from Horizon2020
Horizon2020 is the largest EU programme specifically supporting research and innovation activities. With a current budget of €74.8billion, Horizon2020 can help your business to fund research and innovation activities that underpin a development of a new product, share developmental costs, access missing skills, find new partners, or break into a different market.
Several calls relevant to the Plants & Crops sector are due to open in October 2016. Knowing how long it takes to develop a good project, find partners, and write an application, we believe it is time to start planning now.
