£70m Agri-Tech catalyst funding – Register for workshops to find out more

A new £70m funding scheme called ‘Agri-Tech Catalyst’ has been launched, to help businesses and researchers develop innovative solutions to global challenges in the agricultural technology (‘agri-tech') sector.

Scope

The Agri-Tech Catalyst offers funding for collaborative projects, taking innovative ideas from any sector or discipline with the potential to provide an economic boost to the UK agri-tech industry, by tackling challenges in agriculture.

The scheme will help to take innovations all the way from concept to commercialisation, awarding grants for early-stage pre-industrial research feasibility studies, industrial research, and late-stage pre-experimental and experimental feasibility studies. Any UK business or academic researcher can apply.

Consortia building workshops

Four consortia-building workshops are being organised to help you apply for the competition. These workshops will enable businesses and research-base partners to;

  • Better understand the competition scope, with presentations from TSB staff
  • Identify potential project partners, with opportunities for delegate presentations and networking
  • Find out what make a good project
