The IBCarb Network is holding a one day meeting to present state-of-the-art research on using computational chemistry techniques to better understand the structure and interactions of carbohydrates. The day should appeal to academics and industrialists working in the area of glycoscience, both those with a molecular modelling background and those who might wish to use these techniques to enhance their experimental work.
What: Molecular Modelling of Carbohydrates
When: 6th July 2015
Further information and registration: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/molecular-modelling-of-carbohydrates-tickets-17005467812
Speakers include: Serge Perez (CNRS), Dusan Uhrin (the University of Edinburgh), Goran Widmalm (Stockholm University), Daan Van Aalten (University of Dundee), Andrew Almond (University of Manchester), Anne Imberty (CNRS)
IBCarb (full name Glycoscience Tools for Biotechnology & Bioenergy) is a BBSRC Network in Industrial Biotechnology & Bioenergy (NIBB). It supports innovative academia-industry research collaborations to advance UK glycoscience and enable the translation of academic expertise to industrial glycobiotechnology.
