Clariant and Werner & Mertz collaborate to expand possible applications of bioethanol.

This is the first time that bioethanol produced from agricultural residues is being used in cleaning agents. This project is combines Clariant’s sunlight ® technology with Werner & Merz experience in cleaning agents. It uses second-generation bioethanol produced from local agricultural residues without competing with food residues.

Frosch Bio-Spirit Multisurface-Cleaner Orange has been produced with the sunliquid ® bio-alcohol since the beginning of this year and it’s available at German retailers as of February 2016. See more at Clariant News
