Streetline’s Parker App wins Best Mobile Innovation for Smart Cities prize

Parker, a real-time parking guidance app, has been named 2013 Best Mobile Innovation for 'Smart Cities at last week’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The app. by leading parking solutions provider, Streetline, makes it possible for consumers to easily view available parking options based on pricing, location, and/or real-time availability. Hands free for easy operation; it features voice guidance to provide an audible cue when available parking is nearby.

Streetline and Telefonica announced in November that they will be jointly marketing and selling telematics-enabled smart parking services that allow cities to optimize parking management and reduce car traffic.
