AcademiaPharma: Development Partnerships creates a unique environment for leading industry professionals to share novel case studies, develop future strategies and most importantly create mutual partnerships to support drug development.

The event brings together an international community of experts from academia, biopharma, healthcare and research institutions and councils all in order to share best practice in collaborative research and development.

Ian Tracey, Head of Access to Funding & Finance at The Knowledge Transfer Network, will be running a 2.5-hour panel which will be concluded by a Q&A session.

Ian is the Head of Access to Funding & Finance at the KTN.  He is responsible for growing and developing the KTN’s strategies for assisting innovative companies through the application and raising of finance be-it lending, grants, or equity based.  A key project that his team delivers is the Venturefest Network, as well our national network of Entrepreneur Forums.

This session will include the below topics of discussion:

  • how companies can take their ideas to market,
  • an overview of the current Innovate UK funding landscape,
