The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) has refreshed its online platform to intelligently connect you to relevant events, funding, thought pieces and specialist staff to help your business innovate and grow.

You can discover content using your area of interest, from Defence Security to transport; from space to health – all major UK economic sectors are covered. Once you have selected your interests, using our intelligent tagging system, we will then display rich and relevant content related to your area, often from surprising sources.

The move also marks a closer alignment with our main funder, Innovate UK , with the website branding making a clear visual link. The future of biopharmaceutical formulation - making better products with novel approaches

The KTN’s Biopharmaceutical Formulation Group will meet on 7th July at an event hosted by the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing at UCL. The event is an opportunity to hear from industry and academia in the areas of high throughput formulation screening approaches and strategies, alongside improving formulations with novel delivery modes and excipients. Regulatory considerations in this field will also be explored during the day.

The agenda will include presentations on relevant topics, research posters and open discussion whilst reviewing the innovation landscape and funding opportunities for this field examining synergies for collaboration with other sectors.

Call for POSTERs!

The KTN’s Advisory panel for this meeting includes representation from UCL, Medimmune, Lonza, Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, GSK, Arecor and Novaliq. The Advisory panel would especially like to encourage posters from researchers in both academia and industry for this year’s event. Please register for the meeting and tick the box for poster presentation. Then submit a short 250 word abstract and title by June 7th to karen.souza@ktn-uk.org. You will be notified by 14th June if it is accepted.
