Launch of Grant Funding Available under India-UK Collaborative Industrial R&D Programme 2014 : Closing on April 15, 2015

GITA, on behalf of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India, has launched its 2nd  Request for Proposal (RFP) 2014 jointly with Innovate UK(Implementing and Funding Agency of UK Government).

This RFP invites proposals in the following areas:
·         Cleantech Energy
·         Affordable Healthcare
·         Advanced Manufacturing

·         Use of Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) in any of the above focus areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for pursuing collaborative industrial R&D projects jointly by Indian and UK companies with possibility of funding support from their respective governments.

Funding Modalities:

Financial support (Grant) is available to Indian and UK applicants, which is up to 50% of the respective country budget with a limit of INR 150 Lakhs in India and £300k in the UK for each collaborative project.
