Accessibility

We are committed to providing a website that is easy to use by everyone regardless of circumstances.

The website's objectives are to conform to the guidelines for the Government websites, which support the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, Level Double A, to ensure Web accessibility standards are achievable then maintained.

Text sizes

This site uses only relative font sizes, which means that you can easily change the text size in your browser.

  • In Internet Explorer, go to 'view', 'text size'. Select the text size you require.

  • In Firefox, go to 'view', 'text size'. You can increase or decrease the text size as required.

  • In Safari, hold down the command key (Apple key) and select '+' to increase the text size or '-' to decrease the text size.

Alternative text

We recommend that all images used to illustrate content include the alt attribute to provide descriptive text alternatives. Images that have a decorative function have an ‘empty' alt attribute.
