London Briefing Event Report and Webcast Link

The London competition briefing for Innovate UK and EPSRC’s funding competition: Advancing the Commercial Applications of Graphene, was held on 23rd September 2015, with 60 delegates in attendance.

Representatives from Innovate UK (Lien Ngo, Ellie Ricketts-Jones & Sarah Vodden) introduced the competition, elaborating on the scope, funding available and the application process.

During the afternoon session Paul Huggett from KTN introduced both the Knowledge Transfer Network and the Graphene Special Interest Group (SIG), highlighting the Graphene SIG’s aim to commercialise graphene for the benefit of the UK economy.

The briefing event also featured presentations with academia and industry experts:

Following networking opportunities, the afternoon gave delegates the opportunity to pitch their ideas.
