Mapping the Creative and Cultural Sectors in the EU and China

An interesting Working Paper just published under the ’EU-China Project on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights’ (IPR2) framework. Download here

This publication is aimed at mapping the cultural and creative sectors in China and Europe, as the first step in a process to increase commercial trade by creative businesses through developing and enforcing IP rights (and helping to shape policy and legislation accordingly).

It takes a bit of wading through, and some of the stats (re: China in particular) could be a bit more current, but it provides a good overview and has some useful sector specific information.
