UK Plastic Electronics Research Conference

Tuesday 10th – Wednesday 11th December 2013

Burleigh Court Hotel & Conference Centre, Holywell Park, Loughborough University

The UK Plastic Electronics Research Conference will provide the opportunity for researchers from UK universities to showcase their research in plastic, printed organic and large area electronics to members of the industry. It will be an ideal forum for the academic and industrial communities to meet, review and discuss the best of the UK’s academic plastic electronics R&D projects.

This two-day event will bridge the gap between industry and research, allowing organisations to:

  • Showcase innovative research and highlight its potential value to UK industry,
  • Identify resources or competence in specific areas,
  • Find specialists to support further or related research,
  • Bridge skills gaps by discovering graduates for employment, internships or sponsoring.

The format for this innovative event will comprise of two days of four sessions each with a mixture of concise, high-impact, 10-minute overviews of individuals research highlights, focusing on the potential benefits of the work to the UK plastic electronics sector, and 20-minute, in-depth, presentations on a range of themes including; materials, printing and deposition methods, applications, metrology and future developments. There are also keynote presentations from across the UK’s Plastic Electronics community with expert speakers from industry and academia. Between sessions there will be poster presentations and exhibition space.

Registration costs just £30, inclusive of both days, and includes all refreshments, lunch and the conference dinner. Limited table-top display exhibition space is available for £150 + £30 registration fee per person.
