New 23M€ FCH JU Call - webinar 12th December, 1.30pm

On 28th November 2013 the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) published the second part of its 6th Annual Call for Proposals.  The Call documentation can be accessed at

This Call for Proposals has a budget of 23M€ and covers four topics:

·         Large-scale demonstration of buses and refuelling infrastructure (Collaborative Project)

·         Demonstration of hydrogen production from biogas for supply to vehicle refuelling applications (Collaborative Project)

·         Demonstration of portable generators, back-up power and uninterruptible power systems (Collaborative Project)

·         Development of a European framework for the generation of guarantees of origin for green H2 (Coordination and Support Action – Supporting Action)

The Call deadline is 27th February 2014 at 5pm Brussels time.

A webinar on this Call will be held on Thursday 12th December from 1.30pm to 2.45pm.  The webinar is being organised by the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Group of the Energy Generation & Supply KTN in collaboration with EU Energy Focus and will include contributions from a representative of the FCH JU, who will discuss details of the Call and individual topic areas and give tips on how to write a successful proposal, and a representative of the EU Energy Focus team, who will outline how the team can assist UK organisations in writing proposals.

The outcomes of the webinar will be published on the pages of the Focus Working Group on the FCH JU Calls. You will need to be a member of the Group to access these materials.  As a member of the Group, you will be able to work with other members of the fuel cell and hydrogen community to explore how to prepare a successful bid into the FCH JU Call, exchange experiences, gain insights into the Call topics, search for collaboration partners and find a range of information on how to work and apply for European funding.
