With ever-increasing fuel costs, and ever more stringent regulations governing emissions at all stages of product lifecycles, energy efficiency is a key consideration for all transport systems.

The KTN's transport team also works to assist technology and expertise exchange in areas such as powertrain, battery technologies and energy storage and management, as well as through-life energy costs, into, from and between the road, rail and marine sectors.
