Energy Efficient Computing Competition - Workshops 1 & 2

 

The first two workshops to support the Energy Efficient Computing Collaborative Feasibility Studies Competitiont were held on the 10th in London and the 11th in Daresbury.
 

Both events were opened by Jonathan Mitchener and Myrddin Jones describing the background to and scope of the competition.

Jeremy Bennett of Embecosm gave the keynote in London and Michael Gleaves of STFC gave the keynote at Daresbury.

 

These presentations were followed by a workshop session on the key aims of the competition, potential project ideas and collaborators.
