The R2i2 Electronics Conference will provide the opportunity for the UK’s electronics industry,research & development companies and institutional research centres to meet, review and discuss the best of the nation’s academic electronics research projects.
This event will bridge the gap between industry and research, allowing organisations to:
Showcase innovative electronics research and highlight its potential value to UK industry
Identify resources or competence in specific areas
Find specialists to support further or related research
Bridge skills gaps by discovering graduates to employ, second or sponsor;
This innovative conference builds on the success of last years R2i (details http://bit.ly/KXHmPE ) and will again comprise five sessions with forty high impact presentations, where each presenter will provide a short five-minute overview of their research project or capabilities. There will also be keynote presentations on aspects regarding the commercialization of academic research and research impact.
Call for abstracts:
Abstracts are now invited for submission from the UK’s electronics academic community for presenting at the second Research to Industry event on July 3rd 2013, at Loughborough University.
We are seeking short (~200 words) abstracts outlining your: research project, research portfolio or research facility that you would like to present to industry in a short 5minute pitch at R2i2.
