Selling to the Public Sector: home and abroad
Are you interested in bidding for work with public sector clients; in the UK or further afield?
…if yes, this workshop is for you!
Even in the current economic climate, the public sector in the UK and overseas spends billions buying the goods and services they need in order to operate.
Huge opportunities exist for businesses across a wide range of sectors, from construction to medical consumable suppliers and from food manufacturers to training or consultancy firms.
Many businesses do not know where to identify these opportunities and then find completing the documentation challenging.
This workshop will cover how you can go about tracking opportunities both here in the UK and further afield. You will hear practical hints and tips from a local buyer from Wakefield Council, to help you bid more effectively for public contracts. You’ll also have the chance to learn from two local firms who have tendered successfully for contracts both at home and abroad.
The half-day workshop is organised by the Enterprise Europe Network Yorkshire and UK Trade & Investment and forms part of Wakefield Business Week.
