Questions and Answers from Feasibility Studies Competitions Briefings

Over the course of 19 and 20 January we held several feasibility studies competition briefings covering our digital, nanoscale, technology-inspired, and space feasibility studies competitions. We have captured the questions and provided responses in this PDF. It's available in the groups document library (more>document library>competition documents). You may find the answers of use regardless of the competition or competition scope you intend to apply under.

My question is whether the grant limit is £25,000 or £24,750 (75% of £33,000)? I do not want to make an invalid application.

The Digital Services Feasibility Guidance for Applicants says: “To enable SMEs overcoming the initial hurdle to addressing the emerging growth opportunities in digital services, an indicative £2M is available from the Technology Strategy Board for feasibility studies lasting up to 3 months, each costing no more than £33,000 in total and attracting a grant of up to £25,000 (constituting up to 75% of total project costs).”

I've tried emailing the Technology Strategy Board support people and I keep getting notified that "Your message was deleted without being read "!; I have waited for ages on the phone to the help line without getting to the top of the queue.
