On the 12th and 13th February 2014 AB Systems, in collaboration with the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), the Environmental Sustainability KTN and Wetland Managers consortium held the second of four ‘Wetland Biomass to Bioenergy’ demonstrations in Suffolk.
The event was based at RSPB Minsmere nature reserve in Suffolk. AB Systems demonstrated their newly developed method of harvesting using the Pisten Bully and Kemp header, AgBagging systems for drying and storage, together with mobile briquetting for conversion into an energy product. Both days were well attended, with a good cross-section of participants, including representatives from nature conservation organisations, farming and Suffolk District Council.
