Rethinking the Build Process Interim Projects Review

Rethinking the Build Process was a funding competition initiated by the Technology Strategy Board [rebranded as Innovate UK in 2014] in 2012 to invest up to £4m in collaborative research and development to encourage a radical rethink of the build process and supply chain relationships, leading to more consistent delivery of low-impact buildings.

On 11 February 2016 the successful teams met to update each other on their projects, describe what they had learned and discuss how they are taking the projects forward. The session acted as a peer-review process for the teams and the project management, and sought to enable opportunities for future collaboration between team members.

Innovate UK and the Knowledge Transfer Network were joint workshop hosts. This report is a record of the presentations on that day and the discussions that followed.
