What We Do
We Accelerate Innovation in the Creative Sector
The Knowledge Transfer Network's Creative, Digital and Design Community supports the UK's creative, digital and design industries to exploit the potential of existing and emerging technologies as a driver for product and service innovation.
Translation: a Key Function
The primary function of the Creative, Digital and Design Community is to act as an interface between Innovate UK and creative, digital and design organisations, and thus our programme of work is closely aligned to Innovate UK's strategic priorities as set out in their 'Creative Industries Strategy 2013-16.' We communicate and promote their policies, priorities and funding opportunities and we also play an important role in informing the design of their programmes in order that they fully reflect the changing characteristics and needs of business across the sector.
We undertake a broad range of activities to support business and innovators across the creative, digital and design industries.
We organise and host a number of high-profile national and international events including industry conferences, round tables and workshops as well as supporting and sponsoring other events organised by key partners within the sector.
Our web platform is a trusted source of up-to-date information for both events and funding opportunities for the UK's creative, digital and design businesses.
Our Community also publishes reports and regular articles relating to current trends, innovation projects and issues impacting on the wider landscape. If you would like to submit a guest post that you believe would be of interest to our community, please get in touch.
As a member of our community you will automatically receive a biweekly newsletter highlighting events, latest funding information and an overview of our recent posts from our blog.
We are the Knowledge Transfer Network's community for innovators and businesses in the UK's creative, digital and design sectors.
