The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) has refreshed its online platform to intelligently connect you to relevant events, funding, thought pieces and specialist staff to help your business innovate and grow.

You can discover content using your area of interest, from Digital Creative to transport; from space to health – all major UK economic sectors are covered. Once you have selected your interests, using our intelligent tagging system, we will then display rich and relevant content related to your area, often from surprising sources.

The move also marks a closer alignment with our main funder, Innovate UK , with the website branding making a clear visual link. Design Manager (Knowledge Exchange) Vacancy at ImaginationLancaster

 

This 3 year €5 million project has UK partners in Lancaster University and The Storey Creative Industries Centre and international partners from countries including France, Netherlands, Germany, Finland and Luxembourg.  Based within ImaginationLancaster, a research centre within Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts, you will also be a member of the Design section of the Department. You will liaise closely with a corresponding position being appointed in the Storey Creative Industries Centre and will spend a significant portion of your time in this city centre location.

 

You will be expected to undertake work that supports the delivery of the PROUD INTERREG project in developing new, innovative knowledge exchange mechanisms and approaches. You will also be expected to lead the development, production and facilitation of close collaboration with PROUD national PI and design experts. There is also day to day supervision of consultant designers and supervision of postgraduate students in the areas of innovation and design.

 

The post is fixed term until 31 January 2014 and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and made possible by the INTERREG IVB programme and subject to confirmation of that funding.
