KTN's online platform helps you to make the connections you need

The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) has refreshed its online platform to intelligently connect you to relevant events, funding, thought pieces and specialist staff to help your business innovate and grow.

You can discover content using your area of interest, from Digital Creative to transport; from space to health – all major UK economic sectors are covered. Once you have selected your interests, using our intelligent tagging system, we will then display rich and relevant content related to your area, often from surprising sources.

An example might be new satellite technology from the space sector that is applicable in the agri-food sector. KTN-UK.co.uk will help you form these unusual and valuable connections.

All content on the platform has been carefully curated by our team of innovation specialists – not by an automated algorithm – so you can be confident that KTN is connecting you to the most relevant cutting-edge information.

The move also marks a closer alignment with our main funder, Innovate UK , with the website branding making a clear visual link. Knowledge Transfer Network is Innovate UK's innovation network partner, and also works with other funders to provide innovation networking services and fulfil our mission to drive UK growth.

We link new ideas and opportunities with expertise, markets and finance through our network of businesses, universities, funders and investors. From agri-food to autonomous systems and from energy to design, KTN combines expertise in all sectors with the ability to cross boundaries. Connecting with KTN can lead to potential partners, horizon-expanding events and innovation insights relevant to your needs.

500+ tech jobs at 100 startups in one day!

With 500 + developer jobs going, and salaries of up to £100,000, it's no surprise that the first 1000 places at next Sunday's Silicon Milkroundabout jobs fair have already been filled.
In response to overwhelming demand, however, organisers have released a final phase of registrations available to graduates and experienced developers yet to sign up.

The event - featuring 105 of London's biggest and brightest start-ups including Songkick, Just Eat, Moshi Monsters, Shazam, Just Giving and Graze - will try and lure the brightest engineering and computer sciences graduates, plus experienced developers looking for a change, to come and join their firms.
And while many of the UK’s more established industries (manufacturing, banking and defence) are facing job cuts, the emerging digital/tech industry is growing so rapidly that new jobs are being created daily, making Silicon Milkroundabout the premier event for bringing start-ups and Britain's brightest technical talent together.
Ian Hogarth from organisers, Songkick.com, said: "We've managed to open up some new places, but after this, that's it. Demand has been sensational and it's going to be a terrific day - hopefully a life-changing day for many of the graduates and developers there."
To secure one of the final places at Silicon Milkroundabout on October 30, candidates need to register at www.siliconmilkroundabout.com. The Jobs Fair takes place at Shoreditch’s hip Truman Brewery on Brick Lane between 11am and 5pm.
But this isn't any ordinary jobs fair.  As well as finding the engineering teams of the companies that interest them most, and grilling them on what it's like to work at their startup – attendees can hang out, chill out, play arcade games and hit the free bar.

*Due to venue capacity, this is definitely the final release of registrations, and once thise phase of availability has been filled, no further registrations will be allowed in any circumstances.
