In July 2010 the Technology Strategy Board launched the first round of the £18m ‘Collaboration across digital industries’ competition, which challenged businesses to contribute to an internet with a sustainable economic future, from which all participants would benefit.
We are now launching the second round, with an investment of up to £5.8m. We will support companies who address systemic challenges, where business opportunities are impeded by ineffective or dysfunctional digital industry value chains . A copy of the competition document is available in the document library accessed via the "More tab" at the top of this page.
Successful collaborators will be able to demonstrate how their proposed activity improves or creates new value chains and networks, and show where value is to be created from information, content and services.
This round of the competition is open to all UK-based companies and research organisations in collaborative, business-led consortia. It opens on 14 March 2011 .
On 1st march we held a launch workshop in London where Technology Strategy Board staff outlined the scope of the competiton in more detail. The slides from the event are posted in the document library.
We have also recorded a webinar outlining the scope and it can be viewed here https://webconf.innovateuk.org/t25mubv.2ce2oy/
Opportunities to network with other organistions and to form consortia are available to members of this sub-group.
