Science for REACH and CLP compliance

Advance notice from the Laboratory of the Government Chemist:

Science for REACH and CLP compliance

Free lunchtime and afternoon event

Teddington, Middlesex
12 - 3.30 pm, Thursday 4 November 2010

This event, funded by the UK National Measurement Office, will be hosted at LGC headquarters by the Government Chemist in partnership with the Chemical Hazards Communication Society.

As well as scientists working in industry, SMEs and Public Analysts, the afternoon is designed to meet the needs and concerns of those working in and with businesses to make use of chemical and bioanalytical measurements. Advice on laboratory best practice, scientific issues, reporting and consistent data presentation will help toward the progression of REACH dossiers, successful CLP notifications, robust SDS and effective regulatory enforcement.
