Opportunities for the Chemicals Sector under Innovate UK’s Grant Funding Programme - Webinar on 14 November

The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) is hosting a 1.5 hour webinar on Monday 14th November to provide innovators from the chemicals sector with an update on Opportunities for the Chemicals Sector under Innovate UK’s Grant Funding Programme - A Grant Winner's Perspective.

 

About Innovate UK funding

Innovate UK  is the UK’s innovation agency with a core budget of £561m for 2016/17 to fund, support and grow business-led innovation in the UK. The Innovate UK Delivery Plan 2016/17 introduced a new, simpler sector grouping to funding programmes and commits to running two ‘open’ competitions per year from any sector, as well as two broad competitions per year from the following sector groups:

  • Emerging & Enabling Technologies
  • Health & Life Sciences
  • Infrastructure Systems
  • Manufacturing & Materials

Chemoxy is an innovative contract manufacturer employing more than 130 people at its site in Teesside and has been successful in securing a number of funding grants to supports its innovation projects. David will share his perspectives on opportunities and challenges in applying for Innovate UK grant funding.

R&D Managers, BD Managers and innovators from businesses, academics and RTOs that operate in the chemicals sector and who are seeking to grow through innovation.

The webinar will last approximately 1 hour, allowing 30 minutes for Q&A from webinar participants at the end.
