KYROBIO; biocatalysts for the industrial synthesis of chiral chemicals

Chemistry Innovation is pleased to be partner in the recently funded FP7 ‘KYROBIO’* project. KYROBIO will address some of the main challenges associated with moving forward to the next generation of added value industrial applications of white biotechnology for high value chemical synthesis. The objective of the project is to broaden the toolbox of single enantiomer chiral chemicals that are produced by industry in Europe using biotechnological routes. Through its role in the project, Chemistry Innovation will keep its members up to date with developments in this cutting-edge area and so help ensure UK companies are in a position to benefit from the results and outcomes of the project. Visit our website To register your interest in receiving information regarding this exciting project, please contact Katie Nickson at
