Experimental Design -­‐ an essential skill for chemists

Promoting education and deployment of statistical methods in chemistry research is an activity supported by the Dial a Molecule Grand Challenge.  The vision is to embed statistical methods into mainstream academic chemistry courses to provide a self sustaining solution to raising skill sets in chemists to add value to their future careers.
 
A recent meeting was held at Burlington House to review progress and propose future innitiatives to achieve the above goal and a positive audience provided many details of courses that were running or under development.
